Sensory-Friendly Family Fun Night at Museum of Discovery: The Arkansas Autism Foundation is hosting this sensory-friendly family night at the Museum of Discovery from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Attendees can enjoy various interactive shows which take into account sensory issues that might affect some children on the autism spectrum. Noise-canceling headphones and a quiet, low-stimulus area will be provided. Click here for tickets.

Santa at the Clinton Center: The Clinton Center will host holiday activities for the family, including fun art projects, special holiday entertainment, tasty treats and free photos with Santa. The event is free, but regular admission fees apply to tour the Library. The fun goes from 8 a.m.-noon. Visit the website for more information. FREE!

Holidays in the Wild at the Little Rock Zoo: Head to Café Africa for holiday fun and festivities. Enjoy all day admission to the Zoo and a buffet-style breakfast at 10 a.m. or lunch at 1 p.m. Santa will hear the kids' wish lists and you can enjoy photo opportunities and special visits from animal ambassadors. Mömandpöp's Old Fashioned Christmas at South on Main: Oh the weather outside is frightful, but mömandpöp are so delightful! Doors open at 10 a.m. with a brown bag brunch (for kids and adults) from South on Main. Tickets may be purchased for $5 in advance or at the door. The mömandpöp Show is a musical comedy variety show geared especially for pre-school and early elementary show children and their parents. Click here for more info.

Story Time With Santa at WordsWorth Books & Co.: Bring the little ones and enjoy story time with Santa. Browse a collection of children's books while sipping a cup of hot cocoa. Santa will be there from 11 a.m.-noon. Click here for more info. FREE!

Sensory-Friendly Santa at Camp Aldersgate: Kids with special needs can enjoy a sensory-friendly visit with Mr. Claus. From 1-4 p.m., there will be an opportunity to have pictures made and visit Santa one on one with minimal distractions. Cookies and activities will be provided as well. Caroling in the Forest at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Meet at the Kingfisher Trailhead to stroll into the forest, and sing your favorite Christmas carols along a paved trail from 7-9 p.m. Bring a flashlight and your best singing voice. Ugly Sweater 5K & Elf Dash at Outlets of Little Rock: Start a new family tradition at the inaugural Ugly Sweater Race! The family-oriented fun run celebrates the best of the holiday season with a healthy dose of physical fitness. The 5K is timed and there will be an ugly sweater contest following the run, including a kids category and family category. Santa Brunch at the Arkansas Arts Center: Enjoy a delicious brunch at the Arts Center hosted by Petit and Keet and Watercolor at the Park. Santa will be there from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Reservations are not required, but are strongly encouraged. Call 501-396-0390.

Sunday with Santa at The Capital Hotel: Santa will await visitors in the lobby of the Capital Hotel. Children can bring their wish lists and parents should bring their cameras for photographs. Santa will be available for photos from 2-4 p.m. Call 501-374-7474 for more information. FREE!

"Jack Frost in Santa Land" at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre: It's time to save Christmas day! Jack Frost is causing all sorts of trouble. The chilly little scamp is forever upsetting production in the toy factory, tormenting the magic reindeer, and playing every sneaky trick you can think of on Santa himself. Arkansas Symphony Orchestra’s “Home for the Holidays” at the Robinson Center: Put on a holiday sweater, grab a candy cane, and head to the Robinson Center for this holiday musical extravaganza! Kids ages 1 to 100 will love this musical celebration of the most wonderful time of the year. Concert times are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. Tickets start at $16.
