Sunshine the Cow's Birthday Party at Heifer Urban Farm: Sunshine is 2 years old! Celebrate with party hats, cupcakes and a milkshake bar! Storytime Saturday at Loblolly Scoop Shop: In addition to a read-aloud story, kids will get to hear some of Scott Joplin’s music as well as dance and play along on percussion instruments. Attendees can sample "Maple Leaf Ragtime" ice cream, a flavor developed by Mosaic Templars Cultural Center and Loblolly to celebrate Black History Month. STEM Adventures at Kiddie Academy: This free community event invites children and their parents to explore the world of science, technology, engineering and math through age-appropriate and fun activities from 2-4 p.m. Pre-registration is suggested to reserve your spot. Great Amazing Race at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Inspired by “The Amazing Race” TV show, two-person teams race around a 1.5 mile cross country course completing a string of fun-filled physical challenges. Instruction cards provided at each station describes a task that each team must complete before proceeding to the next challenge station. “Parenting with Love and Leadership” Seminar at Calvary Bapitist Church: Family psychologist John Rosemond leads this humorous, yet thought-provoking seminar, where he describes the contemporary parenting conundrum in clear, compelling terms and then describes a practical, tested solution using what children need adults to provide to them: Love and Leadership. Soup Sunday at the Statehouse Convention Center: Holy minestrone! It’s easy to see why everyone loves this casual, family-friendly, “souper” fun event. Peruse silent auctions, head out on the dance floor, and enjoy delicious soups, breads and desserts from some of central Arkansas’ favorite restaurants. Soup Sunday goes from 4-7 p.m. and tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for kids ages 5-17. Visit the website for more info.

Jurassic Quest at the Statehouse Convention Center: Step back in time at this interactive experience that takes visitors through time from the Middle Triassic to the Late Cretaceous Era with the help of more than 80 life-size, museum quality and animatronic dinosaurs.
