Saturday

St. Patrick's Day Color Powder Run and Mini-Mile in Park Hill: Something tells us you'll look more like a rainbow than a leprechaun at the end of this fun run. Runners can choose between the family fun run, a 2.7-mile route , or the mini-mile route, a one-mile, up-and-back run on the Levy Trail that's great for little ones. Spring Canoe Float at Little Maumelle River: Enjoy a guided tour of the Little Maumelle River and experience the freshness of springtime in Arkansas from a canoe. Pack a lunch, bring a water bottle and wear shoes that can get wet. Stay out on the water from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Registration is $40 per canoe. Click here for more details. 

Paint & Story Time at The Painted Pig: Kids can enjoy listening to "Alan and his Big Scary Teeth" read aloud and then paint an alligator figurine during this session from 10-10:45 a.m. The project is geared at kids ages 1-4, but older siblings are welcome to participate as well. 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Marching bagpipe bands, Irish step dancing, Irish wolfhounds, clowns, decorated floats, international cultural groups and antique cars will all make an appearance in this annual parade. The route begins at Sixth and Main Street in North Little Rock, travels through the Argenta Arts District, crosses over the Arkansas River at the Main Street Bridge, travels through the River Market, up Sherman Street and ends at Third and Cumberland Street in Little Rock. Gardenfest at Laman Library: Mom and dad can get their gardening questions answered while kids visit with animals from Heifer International and Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas! Free Irish Dance Lesson at McCafferty Academy of Irish Dance: Get in the St. Patrick's Day spirit with a free Irish dance lesson! Kids ages 3 and up and aduls can all attend and try this fun art form. The lesson starts at noon and more details are available hereFREE!

“Charlotte's Web” at Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre: A spider and a pig may be an unlikely pair of best friends, but Wilbur needs a one-of-a-kind friend — and Charlotte the spider is a perfect companion. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Girl Scout Cookie Brunch at At the Corner: The sweetest brunch you ever did try. It's Girl Scout Cookie season and that means we're theming entire meals around them! Try Samoas chicken & waffles, Thin Mint pancakes, Tag-A-Long & Do-si-Do crepes and more!
