This Neighborhood Revitalization project focuses on assisting neighborhood residents with needed repairs, weatherization, safety, accessibility, landscaping and beautification of homes. Tweens in the Kitchen at Laman Library: Did you know that there's a kitchen in the library? Tweens can stop by from noon-1 p.m. to learn about kitchen safety while making waffles with delicious toppings. Click here for info. FREE!
"Mary Poppins" at Murry's Dinner Playhouse: Everyone’s favorite, practically perfect nanny takes the stage in this Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious musical adventure. Princess Tea Party at the Castle on Stagecoach: Join Cinderella, Beauty and Sleeping Beauty for a royal tea at Little Rock’s very own castle! The afternoon begins at 12:30 p.m. with a carriage ride and each little attendee receives a wand and tiara. I Ate a Bug Club at Pinnacle Mountain State Park: Insects make up the largest living mass on the planet and some people actually eat them. From 1-2 p.m., join Park Interpreter Kellie at the West Summit Area to discover the unique characteristics and roles of bugs in our environment and view a curated collections of specimens. Then, see if you're brave enough to eat one!
