Little Rock Paper Airplane Festival at Clinton Presidential Park: Hosted by the Lymphomaniac Society, this family-friendly event raises money to help those currently being treated for cancer. The event features exhibitors talking about the mechanics of paper airplanes, what it takes to create the perfect paper aircraft, sustainability and recycling. Kids can then compete in three age groups to see whose paper craft flies the furthest. Arkansas Children’s Hospital Superhero Dash-N-Bash at War Memorial Stadium: A superhero fundraising event for the patients and families impacted by childhood cancer & blood diseases at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. There will be food, bounce houses, real life superheroes, music, a memorial balloon release, victory walk and more! Kramer from HOT 94.9 emcees the event from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Adult registration is $30 and kids 12 and under can get in for $20. Click here for more info.

Harvest Night at the Arkansas Foodbank: This family friendly event at the Arkansas Foodbank includes a southern-style dinner of barbecue and catfish, local craft beverages, live entertainment and children’s activities like a petting zoo and bounce houses. A relaxed atmosphere provides a night of fun for the whole family, while raising awareness about the Arkansas Foodbank’s work from 5-8 p.m. Tickets are $40 for adults and free for kids. Mommy & Daughter Afternoon Tea at Honey Pies: Afternoon tea is the perfect occasion to not only enjoy tea delicacies but show off that pretty tea length dress. During the lesson, attendees will learn the basics of tea etiquette and service. Various finger foods will be served along with a choice of tea.
