1. Go Fishing

2. Visit Garvan Gardens 

Garvan Woodland Gardens officially reopened its doors to the public last week. Here are a few tips for planning your next visit.

3. Join the CALS “Imagine Your Story” Summer Reading Club

4. Take a Dip in an Arkansas Swimming Hole

Arkansas swimming holes are open! Take a refreshing dip in one of these eight secret spots. We love the family fun + social distancing combo.

5. Check out Vintage Market Days at the Arkansas State Fair Grounds 

This in-person event will feature over 100 vendors and plenty of food and snack opportunities. Bonus points if you finally find “that item” to spruce up your space. Kids are welcome, but be sure to bring your mask and practice social distancing.

6. Grab and Go at a Local Farmer’s Market

We found a couple places where you can find delicious, healthy food for your family while supporting local farmers. Check the details below to grab greens, goat cheese and more — all while social distancing, of course.
