Tinkerfest Part 3: Spooky Tinkering 

Get in the Halloween spirit with some Spooky Tinkering with the MOD. They’ve cooked up some creepy activities like Monster Mashup Puppets and Bugs with LED Eyes, to name just a couple.

Recycle Fair at Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas

Do you have recyclable electronics, glass and paper laying around? (Guilty!) Then head to Habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas’ Recycle Fair. Bonus: you can stay for shopping after this outdoor event. Learn more here

Girl Scouts - Diamonds Trick-or-Treat Masquerade Drive-Thru

Put on your favorite Halloween costume and come out for a drive-thru Girl Scout Masquerade party. There will be songs, games, crafts and candy all from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle. 

When: Saturday | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Where: Arkansas Diabetes and Endocrinology Center's parking lot | 11400 Huron Lane, Little Rock Register: Free - register here Guidelines: Masks are required for employees and families. Hand sanitizer will be at each station. All families must remain in vehicles at all times. 

Birdwatching at Main

Have a fan of feathered friends in your family? Then be sure to register for this family birdwatching program conducted by Uta Meyer of the Little Rock Audubon Society. If you miss out on a spot, the CALS library system has birdwatching kits available. Each kit includes a pair of binoculars and a bird field guide.  

When: Saturday | 11 a.m. Where: CALS - Main Library | 100 S. Rock St., Little Rock Register: Registration is required for this free event, limit 10 participants. Guidelines: Wear a mask. Social distancing is encouraged.

Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat at GiGi's Playhouse Little Rock

Gigi’s Playhouse is throwing a free drive-thru trick-or-treat event for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Door prizes and free pumpkins (for the first 30 cars) will be up for grabs. Learn more about GiGi’s and the event here

Travelers Halloween Festival & Movie Night at Dickey-Stephens Park

The Travelers Halloween fest promises to be a magical evening. There will be plenty of Halloween fun including a costume contest, distance trick-or-treating and a s'mores station. Elevate a picnic with beautiful sights in Wildwood Park and great tunes from The Rodney Block Collective. Bring your own blanket and chairs, concessions will be available for donation.

Virtual 2020 World Cheese Dip Championship

This year, the World Cheese Dip Championship will be virtual. Families can purchase a Cheese Dip coupon book that offers cheese dip deals you can enjoy all month long. Your purchase also includes access to the virtual fun on October 24 including music, entertainment and … drumroll … the unveiling of the winners.

Calling all Mustang enthusiasts! Visit Outlets of Little Rock on Sunday, for Fall Mustang Show & Shine. This free event will showcase a wide variety of new and vintage Mustangs from members of the Central Arkansas Mustangers.

When: Sunday 1-4 p.m. Where: Outlets of Little Rock | 11201 Bass Pro Parkway, Little Rock Guidelines: Central Arkansas Mustangers will be directing all cars where to park and will be sure to allot ample space for social distancing. Face coverings are required.

Drive-Thru Greek Food Fest 

It’s 2020 so, yes, the Greek Food Fest will look a little different. But the most important elements of this beloved event will remain: its dedication to great food and local charities. Instead of an in-person event, Little Rock families can order their Greek food faves online for drive-thru pickup.

Funland Halloween Carnival

Funland, an amusement park nestled in North Little Rock’s Murray Park, is hosting a Halloween Carnival this year. Come for a costume contest and other holiday activities. For more information, check out their site.
