The show, written by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom, is based on the book by Albom. This autobiographical story of Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. Sixteen years after graduation, Albom is reunited with Schwartz, who is dying of Lou Gehrig's disease. What begins as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a last class in the meaning of life. Directed by Andy Hall.
