In the Studio: Delita Martin carves linoleum for a relief print.

Were you enthralled by the artwork of Delita Martin, the artist and mom on the cover of Little Rock Family's January issue? Well, if you missed her piece in Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art's "State of the Art" exhibit, we have good news. You can currently see Delita's artwork at two locations in Little Rock and North Little Rock!

At the Laman Library Argenta Branch, visitors can view "Beyond Layers: The Art of Delita Pinchback Martin" through Feb. 13. The solo exhibit includes mixed media works that include her signature layered style of print-making, drawing, collage and even embroidery. The stunning portraits explore the identity of African-American women by pairing the women with objects like spoons and frying pans. Exhibit hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mon.-Fri. Admission is free.

And at the Arkansas Arts Center, one of Delita's artworks will be on view through March 8 as part of a permanent collection exhibition highlighting "Art as Activism." The large-scale piece titled "She Walked with Me" is located in the Atrium. Exhibit hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tue.-Sat., 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun. Admission is free.
