Spring Break Week at Heifer Village: Say goodbye to spring break with one final activity day at Heifer Village! Funland Amusement Park at Burns Park in North Little Rock: This small family amusement park opens for the spring and summer season this weekend! The park features rides for young children, including a carousel, train and cups-and-saucers ride. Park is open March 26-Sept. 25. Burns Park Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Pavillion 10 in North Little Rock: Kids ages 1-9 are divided into three age groups, with only 25 children seeking out Easter eggs at any given time. When they aren't on the hunt, children can participate in various games and holiday activities, enter to win prizes and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. 9-11 a.m. March 26. Annual ThatChurch.com Egg Drop at Sylvan Hills Football Field in Sherwood: A helicopter drops 43,000 candy-filled eggs into the football stadium full of waiting kids—talk about an epic Easter event! Children ages 1-10 can participate in the hunt, and are encouraged to wear superhero costumes for this year's themed event. Photo opportunities with popular superheroes, entertainment and food trucks will keep kids occupied until eggs start falling from the sky. 28th Annual Community Easter Sunrise Service at First Security Amphitheater: Celebrate Easter in downtown Little Rock, as thousands gather on the banks of the Arkansas River with music, scripture and fellowship. This ecumenical service is organized to serve the central Arkansas community by Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church (PHUMC). Music will be offered by the combined choirs of PHUMC , St. Edward Catholic Church, and First Baptist Church of North Little Rock. Special entertainment will be provided by soloist Veena Akama-Makia, Ozark Point Brass, and the gospel quartet “Justified.” This is a non-denominational service for all ages.
