If you're struggling to find ways to get the kids to enjoy being outside in this cold weather, then a winter cruise at Pinnacle Mountain State Park could be the answer.

Throughout the month of January and into February, hop on a boat and let state park interpreters tell you about the awesome animals living right here in central Arkansas.

There are two types of adventures to choose from: the first is all about eagles and the second is a broader look at all the wildlife around the lake.

No matter which cruise you choose, make sure to bundle up — mittens, hats, thick socks, coats and warm boots. Weather on the lake is often colder and windier so it's good to be prepared.
