Is there a little thespian running around your house? Kids love to play make-believe, but some are very committed to their characters. A great way to hone that imagination and skill is to get your kids some theatre training.

The Rep is offering free theatre workshops from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, April 29 at their black box theatre (a style of theatre that can rearrange the position of the audience and the stage easily). The workshops are for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Act It Out! is the first workshop at 10 a.m., followed by Broadway Dance at 10:45 a.m. and Improvisation at 11:30 a.m.

Students are asked to arrive 15 minutes early so that parents can fill out a student release and liability form. Family members can wait in the lobby during classes where snack and drink sales benefit The Rep's Education Scholarship Fund.
