Nothing says fall like a hayride and a trip to the pumpkin patch. Here's a list of local farms and patches open through November.

BoBrook Farms, Roland -- From 9 a.m.-5 p.m. through Oct. 31 enjoy a hayride, play in a hay maze, get lost in a corn maze and frolic in a corn pit. Then pick your own pumpkin. Admission is $5 plus the cost of pumpkins. A picnic area is available. For info: (501) 519-5666.

Schaefers' Family Farm, Mayflower -- Schaefers' offers corn mazes, hay rides, kids' activities, concessions and more. There is a pumpkin patch at a separate location. Hours are noon-8 p.m. Thursday, noon-11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday. The farm is available during the week for school groups. There will be a new "terrifying" hayride in the bottoms from 8-11 p.m. Oct. 23-24 and 30-31. Cost is $10 for adults and $7 for kids. Corn maze is $7 for adults and $5 for kids. Mary's Place, Bryant -- The pumpkin patch welcomes groups from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday through Nov. 6. Also open 9 a.m. -6 p.m. Saturday. Evening hours are 6-9 p.m. for church groups and private parties only. Adults are free with day groups; children are $7.50. For info: (501) 847-3900.

Garner Homestead Family Farm, Lonsdale -- For $7 you can enjoy a full day on the farm including a hay ride, barnyard animal show, woodland nature trail, animal petting area, cornfield of trails, playground, picnic areas, a pumpkin patch and choice of a bonus activity. Children ages 2 and under are free. Open 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday through Nov. 6. For info: (501) 463-0510.

Johnston Pumpkin Farm, Conway -- Come enjoy a plethora of fun activities from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily through Oct. 31. There are a variety of packages to choose from. Pick your own pumpkin, see farm animals, enjoy story time, take a hayride, or shop at the country store. There is a play and picnic area. For info: (501) 679-5078.

Hardin Farm, Grady -- This family farm includes a 60-acre pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm animal exhibits, haunted house, kids' activities and more. Hours are  8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. School tours available Wednesday-Friday. For info: (501) 479-3978.

Motley's Pumpkin Patch, Little Rock -- A day at Motley's includes hay rides, a farm zoo, hay play, pig races and picking pumpkins. Everything is included with admission of $6 per person. Children 2 and under are free. Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. For info:(501)  888-1129.

Pumpkin Hill, Wildwood Park for the Arts -- Hayrides to Pumpkin Hill are available for field trips on weekdays and are open to the public from noon-4 p.m. weekends. Cost is $5 for kids and $2 for adults. Each child will receive a pumpkin at Pumpkin Hill. For info: (501) 821-7275.
