Career Goal: Upon graduating college with my Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with an emphasis in broadcast journalism and a minor in human resources, I plan to become a local news anchor or work for a local publishing company. I also plan to go to grad school and get my master’s degree in human resources and re-enlist in the U.S. Army as an active duty human resources officer, which will give me the opportunity to travel and explore while also serving others and my country.

Favorite Memory from High School: Our Rising Senior Picnic was one of the best days of my high school experience. It is held in the middle of May and is a day for the soon-to-be seniors to get together and enjoy lots of friends, fun and good food from Corky’s. We had games, bouncy houses and attractions and our class really came together and had a marvelous time.

Favorite Quote: “Be free. Be optimistic. Be open-minded. Live your life and never let anyone tell you’re incompetent. If you believe you can, you can, and you will. Live every day as if it’s your last and don’t live with regrets.”
