Have you been to the Central Arkansas Library System's Ron Robinson Theater? Located downtown in the Arcade Building (right behind Kilwins, a delicious ice cream, fudge and sweets shop!), the 315-seat venue hosts live music performances, lectures and cheap, family-friendly films.

CALS just released the summer movie schedule and Harry Potter fans are in for a treat. To celebrate Harry Potter's birthday on July 31, the theater is hosting a movie marathon to show all eight Harry Potter movies in just seven days. Entry to each film is just $7, and a pass for all eight films is $25. Here's the schedule:

  • July 26, 6 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (PG)
  • July 27, 7 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (PG)
  • July 28, 7 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (PG)
  • July 29, 7 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (PG-13)
  • July 30, 7 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (PG-13)
  • July 31, 7 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (PG)
  • Aug. 1, 2 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (PG-13)
  • Aug. 1, 7 p.m.: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II (PG-13)

In addition to the Harry Potter Movie Marathon, the summer movie lineup at the Ron Robinson Theater also includes the following films for $5 admission:

  • June 27, 2 p.m.: "The Goonies"
  • July 11, 2 p.m.: "Song of the Sea"
  • Aug. 22, 2 p.m.: "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"
