How to Snag $1 Admission to the Little Rock Zoo
We know it's 95 degrees outside, but sometimes you just have to power through the heat and humidity to get outside and soak up the summer. And we've got the perfect reason to do just that.
On Saturday, July 15, the Little Rock Zoo is hosting its eighth annual Hiland Dairy Dollar Day, which means that admission is just $1 per person all day long.
Gates will open at 9 a.m. and last admission will be at 5 p.m. with the Zoo closing at 5:30 p.m. In addition to Zoo admissions being $1 all day long, the Zoo will sell Hiland Dairy products for only $1, including cold beverages.
While you're there, you can explore the zoo's temporary exhibit, Water's Extreme Journey. The interactive maze lets visitors experience the journey a drop of water takes as it goes through the Lake Maumelle watershed. Entry to the exhibit is included in regular admission.
Guests will also be able attend the zoo's Animal Ambassador Show at the Civitan Amphitheater at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Parking at the zoo is $3 per vehicle. For more information on amenities and special events happening at the zoo, visit the website here.
