The Little Rock School District is inviting parents to provide input, ideas and help as they work to remodel, repurpose and rebuild LRSD buildings.

To participate in the discussions, the public is invited to a series of meetings at the following locations:

  • McClellan: Tuesday, Sept. 4, 5:30-8 p.m.
  • J.A. Fair: Monday, Sept. 10, 5:30-8 p.m.
  • Pinnacle View: Monday, Sept. 17, 5:30-8 p.m.
  • Bale: Thursday, Sept. 20, 5:30-8 p.m.
  • Dunbar: Monday, Sept. 24, 5:30-8 p.m.

The goal of the LRSD Community Blueprint process is to improve student achievement, increase parental involvement engage the community more meaningfully and utilize financial resources more effectively.

Some of the difficulties within the district include aging facilities, teacher recruitment, reaching grade-level achievement and career exposure for students. Community members and parents who are unable to attend the meetings can also fill out a survey request form and provide input online.
