March to the beat of your own drum at one or more of these parades, or watch from the sidelines. There are seven Christmas parades coming soon to central Arkansas. Here's where your family can get into the holiday spirit:

12th Annual Illuminated Christmas Parade in Bryant: "Hallmark Christmas" is the theme for this year's lighted parade featuring floats, marching bands and more. The parade route starts at the north end of Market Place Avenue, turns right onto Bryant Avenue and then turns right onto Horizon Drive. Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. For info: 501-847-4702.

62nd Annual Christmas Parade in Downtown Jacksonville: This nighttime parade features illuminated floats and the featured guest, Santa, along with parade favorites: marching bands, floats, dance groups and the fire department. The parade begins at the corner of Sharp & Main streets and will end at First United Methodist Church on Main Street. Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. For info: 501-982-4171,

Big Jingle Jubilee Holiday Parade in Downtown Little Rock: See Santa and Mrs. Claus in this annual parade in downtown Little Rock. The parade will begin at Second and and Broadway streets, follow Broadway to Capitol Avenue, and then proceed down Capitol Avenue to the State Capitol. The parade is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. After the parade, the State Capitol will be illuminated in its annual holiday display at 5:30 p.m. Santa Claus will help lead the festivities, which include fireworks, music and children's activities. Christmas Parade in Cabot: This year's theme is "A Storybook Christmas" and the parade includes floats, bands, clowns and Santa. The parade begins at Dakota Drive and Highway 89/West Main Street and travels on Highway 89/West Main Street, Pine Street and First Street, ending at City Hall. North Little Rock Sertoma Club Christmas Parade: The annual parade, themed "Candy Canes and Gingerbread," begins at Pershing Boulevard and Main Street and goes through the Argenta Arts District. Sunday, Dec. 1 from 2-4 p.m. For info: 501-753-7902,

Oaklawn Rotary Christmas Parade in Downtown Hot Springs: This delightful parade features floats and marching bands, lighting up Hot Springs with holiday cheer. This year's parade theme is "The Music of Christmas."  The parade route moves north to south on Central Avenue from Whittington to Orange. Turn left onto Orange and finish at Transportation Depot. Sherwood Christmas Parade: Don't miss this fun holiday parade with school bands, floats and fun. The parade, themed "Christmas Movie Memories," will start at Lantrip Road and Kiehl Avenue and will end at Oakbrooke Drive. Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. For info: 501-835-9599, Facebook.
