When you’re thinking tooth-healthy, think crunchy. Crunchy whole foods like broccoli give your teeth an extra scrub. And the calcium and water content in this green veggie adds another healthy punch. Crunchy almonds also offer an added bonus: enamel-boosting calcium and phosphorous.  

Broccoli, Cranberry and Almond Salad

This simple twist on crudités will have your family saying très bon!

Ingredients:

  • 12-ounce bag of shredded broccoli

  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries 

  • 1/4 cup olive oil mayonnaise or vegan mayonnaise

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. 

  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Serve as an appetizer or side.
