While it’s not quite time to start pulling out shorts and swimsuits, it is time to start planning your kids’ summer activities. Veteran parents know that February and March are prime time for nabbing spots at your favorite schools and programs.

New to parenting or the Little Rock area? Keep an eye out for our March issue. We curated a 2021 guide to the best of the best Arkansas-area camps for your kid. And one of the camps that made our list was Summer Laureate University for Youth (SLUFY).

Registration is now open for this gifted and talented program of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In its 42nd year, this camp will offer virtual courses developed by experts in virtual learning and gifted education to help high-achieving students explore their interests and talents. And as with all the best summer camp experiences, students will also have the chance to make lasting friendships.
