We love that the Arkansas Women's History Month Festival is slated to be a family-friendly affair. Bring the kids to learn about HERstory in the 1980s. The fest theme will focus on the socioeconomic, political and cultural contributions of Arkansas women in the 1980s.

Along with a healthy dose of recent history, you can expect free activities for the whole family like video games, karaoke, a photo booth, yard games and free ice cream courtesy of Blue Bell Creameries.

The event is hosted by Arkansas Women's History Institute at the Old State House Museum.
