Disc Golf is a fun, family-friendly game that has no minimum age. Courses are usually free and start-up material costs are minimal. And, to really sweeten the deal, central Arkansas is home to many courses making it easy to explore a new hobby and nearby parks together.

Basic Disc Golf Rules

Disc Golf is played and scored just like golf. Instead of hitting a ball with a club to a hole, disc golfers throw discs toward the disc golf baskets. The goal is to reach each basket in the least amount of throws.

Tips for Playing with Kids

  1. Don’t focus on the rules.

  2. Pick a course with a nearby playground.

  3. Play until your kids get tired, not until the end of the course.

  4. Let faster groups go ahead.

  5. Safety first: Make sure to have kids watch for other players and park goers before each throw.
