Mid-America Science Tots 

You can tune in virtually to the Mid-America Science Museum’s storytime every Thursday. This week, their educators will challenge preschoolers to build a bus that the pigeon can drive as inspired by Mo Willems’ hilarious book “Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.”

MTCC Black History Storytime Showcase

Join MTCC Director Christina Shutt for a virtual story time that features authors and main characters of color. Each story will help families open dialog with children about how everyone, no matter their differences, can be amazing.

Sweet Tip: During the reading, Director Shutt will reveal a secret code for one free kid’s scoop of ice cream per family at Loblolly Creamery.

Ice Cream for Breakfast Day 

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM FOR BREAKFAST! Loblolly, our readers’ favorite spot for desserts in 2020, is making this super-fun national holiday super easy. You can swing by the scoop shop to pick up two limited-edition breakfast ice cream pints and Cereal Milk Shakes. If you prefer outside events, visit their truck at White Water Tavern from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for exclusive breakfast-inspired flavors.
