Opening Day at the Little Rock Farmers Market: Nothing’s better than a spring morning full of fresh and local fruits, veggies, jams, jellies and flowers. Enjoy a stroll through the booths of vendors selling homemade goods and stock up on groceries and handmade trinkets from various artisans. North Little Rock Mini Maker Faire at North Little Rock's North Shore Riverwalk: The North Little Rock Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly celebration of invention and resourcefulness featuring a collection of hands-on art projects, DIY science and technology, alternative energy, bicycles, handmade crafts and demonstrations. At the Faire from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. there will also be drones, visitors from the Little Rock Zoo, robotics and more. Click here for more details. FREE!

mömandpöp Springtime Song & Dance Party at South on Main: Enjoy a musical comedy variety show geared especially for pre-school and early elementary age kids. Doors open at 10 a.m. with a Brown Bag Brunch from South on Main. Kids can make Mother's Day cards before the concert starts at 11 a.m. Tickets may be purchased for $5 in advance or at the door. Seating is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Worm Farming at Heifer Hour at Heifer Village: At this month's Heifer Hour, your child will learn about composting with worms and make their own terrariums (worm farms). Arkansas Travelers Meet & Greet at Outlets of Little Rock: Meet the Arkansas Travelers mascots, plus two players from the team outside Outlets of Little Rock Food Pavilion from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Get an autograph or photo with the players, play some cornhole and enter for a chance to win a family four-pack to a Travelers baseball game! Mamie's Poppy Party at War Memorial Stadium: Mamie’s Poppy Party “A Remembrance Celebration" (formerly known as Race to Remember) is a festival festival-style event from 6-9 p.m. featuring a parade, food, live entertainment, a kids area and a fireworks display. Travs vs. Tulsa Drillers at Dickey-Stephens Park: The Travs play four times this weekend, packing in two games on Friday with a doubleheader. Game times are 5:10 p.m. Friday (with the second game immediately following), 6:10 p.m. Saturday and 2:10 p.m. Sunday.
