Garvan Woodland Gardens officially reopened its doors to the public on Monday. In an abundance of caution and priority for visitors’ wellness, safety measures are in place and some attractions remain closed. Here’s everything you need to know when planning your next visit.

The Low-down 

  • Daily hours of operation are noon – 6 p.m. 

  • The Chipmunk Café is open for window pick-up daily from noon – 4 p.m.

  • The Gift Shop opens tomorrow, June 5, from noon – 6 p.m. daily. Capacity will be limited to five shoppers at a time. 

  • Social distancing rules should be practiced at all times in the Gardens.

  • The Tree House is open! Just be sure to limit one family unit inside at a time.

  • There are three restrooms in the Gardens. Temporary closure of one restroom may occur intermittently for disinfection.

    • Visitors are respectfully asked to wear masks inside the restrooms.

  • Membership purchase is not available onsite, but you can call the office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays to join or renew. Otherwise, join online here

Continued Area and Attraction Closures

  • Anthony Chapel interior and Chapel Complex buildings (Millsap Brides Hall, Evans Grooms Quarters)

  • Magnolia Room

  • Weyerhaeuser Bonsai Learning Center

  • Most garden-sponsored classes and events are canceled through the summer. Check the event page for more details. 

  • Golf Cart Tours will become available beginning in July!
