The 38th Annual Toys Designed by Artists exhibit is in full swing at the Arkansas Arts Center, showcasing original toys created by artists. Covered by glass cases, visitors aren't able to touch these pieces. What some people may not realize is that a few of these pieces on display actually have interesting functions.

InArkansas.com and Little Rock Family were able to get a behind-the-scenes look at how a few of the cool toys work. Check out our exclusive video below.

Getting its start Wednesday, Nov. 21, at the AAC, 501 East 9th Street, Little Rock, Toys Designed by Artists is one of the center's treasured traditions that encourages artists to turn the concept of a toy into a work of art. A variety of original and innovative toy designs are on display.

The international juried exhibit is open to artists all over the world and showcases creative original toy pieces with top-notch design and craftsmanship.

Admission is free.
