Yahoo! It's summer. All I can think of is the phrase surf 'n' turf. I'm not talking about the yummy main dish commonly served up using some type of shellfish and steak. I'm talking about hitting the water and hitting the dirt for summer fun with family.

Somer of our favorite family times are the in the summer:

• Spending the day at the pool and stopping for sno-cones on the way home
• Snuggling up and watching movies during summer storms
• Cook outs and potlucks
• Biking and hiking the trails at Two Rivers Park
• Watching bats flitter around at dusk and listening to wildlife as night falls
• Reading a great book together over the summer months
• Anything to do with water -- creeks, rivers, lakes, pools, oceans
• Family vacations, adventures, and more...

July is the one month out of the year where there seems to be just a smidge more freedom to plan as you wish. With that being said, we've jam packed our July issue with so many ideas for family fun and bonding, we're calling it our 2nd Annual Super Summer Spectacular.
