Holiday House at Statehouse Convention Center -- The Junior League of Little Rock’s annual kickoff to the holiday shopping season returns to the Statehouse Convention Center. In addition to general shopping days, this year's Holiday House will include a bevy of events, including private shopping passes, a preview party with cocktails and live music, and ladies’ night out complete with margaritas and Mexican fare. Tribal Trails at Museum of Discovery -- The Pahsetopah family introduces visitors to Native American culture, particularly the Osage, one of the four major tribes in Arkansas prior to their relocation to Oklahoma. Interactive programs will include dancing, cultural history, handmade costumes and traditions. Show times are 2 p.m. Nov. 14, 3 p.m. Nov. 15, and an additional show on Nov. 16. Santa Claus Arrives at McCain Mall -- Santa Claus arrives at McCain Mall to visit with boys and girls this holiday season. He'll arrive on a fire truck accompanied by the North Little Rock Fire Department. After listening to those special holiday wishes, Santa is happy to pose with children for photos; contact McCain Mall for photo package pricing. Breakfast with Santa McCain Mall -- Immediately following Santa's arrival, children ages 12 and younger can enjoy breakfast at the McCain Mall Chick-fil-A with Santa. The event will feature games, activities and door prizes. Civil War Family Day: Exploring the Little Rock of 1863 at Old State House Museum -- Over 30 costumed interpreters will portray military and civilian life in Little Rock after the retreat of the Confederate Army in the fall of 1863. Visitors will be able to see what life was like for soldiers garrisoned in the city and citizens dealing with the occupation while a new government was being established. The Old State House Museum was the command headquarters of the Federal military during this time. Full Moon Walk at Big Dam Bridge -- This family-friendly walk shows off the pedestrian bridge as a safe and beautiful place for the whole family to enjoy.
